Today we begin our discussion of juvenile detention. In this context, what do you think is the point of juvenile prisons? Should it be to rehabilitate or punish? If it's to rehabilitate, what kind of services should juvenile detention centers provide to help kids?
I think juvenile detention is to scare you so you wont come back
ReplyDeletei think its both because it is to punish because no crime should go unpunished. its also to rehabilitate as well.
ReplyDeletejuvies are put into detention centers because either to rehabilitate them or keep them there to transfer them into adult jail depending there crime. putting someone into jail for life is to punish them because we are not able to put others to death anymore.
