  1. A. Government as a necessary evil:
    GABE:
Gov. is needed to "enforce" the law or else there would be destruction- people would go wild
    KRIS:
They have secrets they can't tell us for our own good.
    BERNSTEIN
Being controlled by gov. is bad, but if we didn't have it, things would be much worse (anarchy)

    B: Government is positive good
    GABE:
Government keeps the people organized, safe (from each other and other countries)
    KRIS:
Keeps us safe and protected from other, regulates all the rules
    BERNSTEIN:
Government brings us to a place (civilization)that would not be possible without it.

    C. GOVERNMENT AS UNECESSARY EVIL
GABE: Uses the tax money to start wars and to enrich politicians. If we had no government, things would be the same, except we'd have more money.
KRIS: They hide secrets from us, they tax us, most of the rules are unecessary. We'd be better off without it.
BERNSTEIN: Government is a negative, controlling force. Without it, people would be better off.
